 Basically, this is what happens in MGO. As much as I love CQCing, having teammates steal your kills, or friendly fire headshot you, or having teammates of the CQCeed shoot you while you're at it gets tiring but it doesn't stop me from having fun running around with the stun knife getting submachine sprayed in the face. OTL It's easier to do during deathmatches where everyones busy shooting at each others and you can sneak up on the unsuspecting campers or users who are focused on fighting others. XD; Stealth kills are worth more in my book. And then you can get an extra kill if you're smart enough to headshot them after, but that's just cheap. XD Vento drew himself being victimized by me apparently, but that won't ever happen, I'll never get to play against him irl, he's on the xbox 360 I think, and besides MGO is region-locked WHICH IS SUCKY. SUCKY I TELL YOU. -cry- I played with Maru today though, but I kept getting killed running around with my stun knife and hand guns while everyone else came at me with subguns, although I got a few headshots with the handgun though. I AM JEALOUS THOUGH, MARU GOT TO PLAY AS SNAKE IN ONE OF THE SNEAKING MISSIONS. ;__; But at least I got to try MKII yesterday, super fun helping Snake out. Edit: One more newbie phenomenon I hate about MGO is how some team mates just SPREAD OUT and gets their asses slayn one by one due to that. Current Mood: sleepy |

Re: Media/Hollywood VS. Historical/Mythological Accuracy So I readily admit that I loooooove Xena. I know - it's so campy, and so corny, but I love it. I was looking up references for impending Xena fanart when I came across a blog stating thus: Watching fertile bimbos playing with rubber swords and acting to bad scripts doesn’t give you any real insights into antiquity.
Shows like Xena and the related Hercules - and many Hollywood and Walt Disney movies have totally twisted our understanding of the good old heroic days. I would consider “Life of Brian” almost as historically accurate as these sins.
All these script writers, directors and most of all producers should be properly crucified for these sins!
Greece and Roman history offer many amazing and breathtaking stories. Also the myths are brilliant. There is no need to spice these stories up - there is loads of blood, sex and drama in them.Now... I know how lame Xena is to a lot of people, and that's totally fair - it's not exactly Emmy material. However, there is a bigger issue at hand here, and that's the concept of education through media. In this day and age, there are hundreds of thousands of variations and renditions of many types of stories and genres from all over the world. This is something that is not in the individual’s control - people are going to continue to change and create their own versions of history, mythology, religion, etc. With this said, the only think we can control is our individual education and awareness. Shows like Hercules/Xena/etc. were not created to be offensive to people or to history, nor are they supposed to be regarded as accurate historical resources - they are variations that spawn from different creative minds. Take Disney, for example - most of their fairy tale films are heavily tweaked, and that’s accepted because they are targeting a certain type of audience. Honestly, I am not a big fan of how Hollywood has warped some concepts, but most people are quick to blame Hollywood and other types of media for things like teaching our children bad morals or not accurately depicting history or mythology, when ultimately it’s the parents’ (and the individual’s) responsibility to do that. If a 14-year old boy purchases a violent videogame, and then promptly goes out, finds a gun, and kills someone with it thinking it's fun, how does the problem come down to, "that kid learned that from violent videogames"? (Seriously, how about: your child HAS SERIOUS REALITY VS. FANTASY AWARENESS ISSUES) If someone is watching shows Hercules/Xena as an accurate source of history or mythology, I would say there is a bigger problem than those shows being inaccurate - anyone can look up accurate historical and mythological references on the internet in less than 5 minutes. Thing is, today most people expect that such information be hand-fed to them, and ultimately this is the biggest problem at hand - we are just lazy. We live in an era where information about ANYTHING is readily available, so blaming something that’s obviously targeted as to being nothing but fun is irrelevant. If the individual fails to educate themselves in history/mythology/etc, the fault lies in nobody else but the individual. Not only that, but if an individual can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality, or what is supposed to be accurate or inaccurate, that's something that only the individual can remedy as well. EDIT: and friends... what is with the twittering on LiveJournal........ =_=;; Current Mood: annoyed |

Abarai Renji - Bleach Zbrush 3.1 practice: Abarai Renji from Bleach This one took a few hours less than the others (about 6 hours) since I reused the base male head model originally used for Kenpachi. Amazing how much you can change in ZBrush. The base male head isn't perfect yet. As I make more models, I'll fine tune it until it can be use for more heads with minimal tweeking. I'm sure the tattoos are a bit off on Renji since my references were a bit vague... but I'm too sleepy to care. EDIT: Woke up and made some changes. The shoulder is now wider. Smoothed out the cheek and chin. Added very very basic textures just to see what it looks like. Current Mood: sleepy |

GOD I LOVE METAL GEAR ONLINE.Llolololol, Everytime I play the sneaking missions in Metal Gear Online, I don't really stop to shoot at anything until I find the person who's playing as Snake and I try my best to do some sucky CQC, the both of us running around in circles trying to grab or punch each others, but his grabs and throws knocks you out cold in one go so there's really no point in doing it, yet I do it. XD It's my love for him I tell you, can't be without him. Right now, my soldier is a guy so he's gay for Snake but once the expansion is out I'll make a female character. <:D I seriously want to try playing as MK II in the sneaking missions, help Snake out and whatnot against real human players. XD MAN MGO IS FUN UGH. Adverted my attention from the big boss emblem though. -weep- ;D;
NEMI NEMI, I CAN'T WAIT TIL WE ARE ABLE TO MAKE THAT GUILD TOGETHER. It'll be so awesome to draw fanart of our ocelettes! <3<3<3 Current Mood: excitedCurrent Music: MGO music in the bg |

Aladdin and the wonderful lamp aka Arajin to maho no ranpu The original Aladdin animated flick that I remember.
I grew up watching this. I also remember my sister telling me and my cousins to go hide in the bed room, while unbeknownst to us, she was building a fort out of chairs, tables, and a big blanket in the living room, just so we could watch this movie for the 6th time.
